There’s a certain magic that happens in live performance: Capturing that magic on film is one of my favorite challenges as a visual storyteller. It’s not about perfection; it’s about presence. The breath between lines. The stillness before a leap. The way light falls on a face.
Right now, I’m working on adapting a Fringe Festival show into a feature-length film. My goal is not only to document it but to transform it, using cinema as a way to draw new eyes to the beauty of live, independent performance art. I believe film can be a bridge: a medium that sparks curiosity and sends people back into the seats of small theaters and experimental venues, eager to experience something real.
So here’s to the weird, the moving, and the wildly creative: on stage, on screen, and everywhere in between.
